"What the f...?", Rogue cried in astonishment. "It worked!",
Sinister cried with glee. He began to talk excitedly to himself. "The alien's DNA make-up combined with Wolverine's powers
has caused her to have his powers perminantly!" "But what about Wolvie?", Rogue asked worryingly. "Oh," he turned
to face her, "he still has his powers. The girl's morphing ability copied his powers completely, and bonded with your DNA.
So, in essence, his powers are your powers.", Sinister explained, obviously proud of himself. "You sick bastard!", Scott
Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops yelled. "What? How did you get in?!" he yelled as he turned in shock, "My security systems
should have kept you out!" "We make short work o' de
systems, Sinister.", Gambit angrily replied. "Remy! These bonds are adamantium. Ah can't break 'em.", Rogue told them.
"And you never will. Only I can free you, so you X-Men may as well go home.", Sinister cockily replied. "Have it your
way, Sinister.", Remy said with a grin. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a playing card. It began to glow, and with
extreme speed and accuracy, Gambit flung the card toward Sinister, the explosion throwing him off-balance. Sinister fell into
Rogue, his head hitting her bare arm. Years of horrors filled Rogue's mind, as well as the way to free Wolverine, 'Susie',
and herself from their bonds. As Sinister's unconcious body hit the floor, Rogue explained to Hank how to free them.
"Shouldn't we take her?", asked Jean, pointing to 'Susie's'
dead body.
"No time! Sinister's gonna wake up soon!", Rogue said as
she ran to the door. As they flew home, their teammates asked Rogue and Wolverine what had happened. Rogue gave Logan
a look that said, 'I hate this part', and began filling them in.
